INTEGRITAS KEPEMIMPINAN KRISTEN SEBAGAI MANIFESTASI HIDUP YANG DIPIMPIN ROH: KAJIAN EKSEGETIS-TEOLOGIS GALATIA 5:16-25

Abstract

Crises of integrity in Christian leadership reveal a gap between professed faith, character, and ministerial practice. This study examines Spirit-led life in Galatians 5:16–25 and develops a theological foundation for integrity in Christian leadership. Employing qualitative library research, it combines exegetical-theological inquiry with historical-grammatical analysis. The findings identify a coherent Pauline argument moving from the conflict between flesh and Spirit, through character formation expressed in the fruit of the Spirit, to consistent conduct grounded in belonging to Christ. On this basis, the study constructs six dimensions of leadership integrity: consistency of character, honesty and transparency, self-control, humility in service, moral responsibility and accountability, and relational integrity. These dimensions are theological implications drawn from the passage rather than leadership indicators listed by Paul. The study contributes a pneumatologically grounded framework for Christian leadership ethics, relating professed belief to character, speech, and action while retaining the importance of institutional accountability and oversight.
